Subject: CALNET Service Delegation STMM Chapter 3-502
The California Department of Technology (CDT) California Network and Telecommunications (CALNET) Program has made updates to the State Telecommunications Management Manual (STMM), CALNET Service Delegation Chapter 3-502.
The updates include:
- Name change from Statewide Telecommunications and Network Division (STND) to CALNET Program
- Removal of the CALNET contract number requirement
- Updated contact information.
Effective immediately, CALNET Service Delegations are no longer limited to a single CALNET Contractor. This means customers would only need to submit one CALNET Service Delegation for each service type that requires a delegation.
Previously approved CALNET Service Delegations are no longer limited to the CALNET Contractor associated with the contract number specified within the approved CALNET Service Delegation. This means customers may use their existing CALNET Service Delegation when ordering the same service type from a different CALNET Contractor. Customers will not need to obtain a new CALNET Service Delegation.
Other unique conditions (such as term) may still apply to each CALNET Service Delegation. Please see your individual CALNET Service Delegations for detailed conditions.
