Action Requested: Transition from CDT’s contract to DGS’ SLP/SCA
Effective Date: March 31, 2026
Overview
The California Department of Technology (CDT) Contract 23-15341 with Insight Public Sector, Inc. for Microsoft (MS) Implementation Services expires on March 31, 2026, and will not be renewed.
What’s Next
All work being performed through this contract must be completed by March 31, 2026. Customers may continue to submit Work Authorizations (WAs), however, WAs will only be approved to the extent that the work can be completed within the remaining term of the contract.
Customers requiring MS Implementation Services after the contract expiration date must re-procure these services through the Department of General Services (DGS) Software Licensing Program (SLP), MS Software Cooperative Agreement (SCA).
Action Requested
DGS offers MS Implementation Services through multiple MS SCAs which will be the new procurement vehicle once the current CDT Contract with Insight Public Sector, Inc. expires. Refer to the SLP/SCA contract information below for procurement details:
