Overview

The California Department of Technology (CDT) is announcing the Statewide IT Shared Services (SITeS) contracts enabling state and local governmental entities to directly purchase low-risk general office productivity solutions under pre-negotiated statewide agreements. The SITeS contracts are tailored for low-risk GenAI use cases, reducing procurement timelines and providing cost savings for state and local governmental entities. 

Purpose/What’s Next/Next Steps/Reason for Change/New Rates: 

In accordance with Executive Order N-30-25, CDT is undertaking certain key initiatives to simplify IT project approvals and procurement, expand shared contracting vehicles that reduce statewide costs, and deliver a marketplace for GenAI tools, services and productivity solutions.

Next Steps: 
Departments should refer to the published user instructions before initiating any actions related to the SITeS contracts. All purchasing related questions must be directed to CDT for SITeS purchasing inquiries.
